Guess who’s back? Back again. Sarah’s back. Tell a friend.
I’ve decided to come back and start doing a monthly blog covering my round up of each month.
Considering I’m paying for a website & domain that I barely use, but I’m not quite ready to give up just yet. Yes I’ve been considering a re-branding & re-launch but that also requires a lot of time & effort. Right now, my job has been consuming most of my time, along with that Dubai – Abu Dhabi commute again. The rest of the time, I’m trying to close all my rings (Apple Watch users will understand) cook at home more & food prep to avoid ordering lunch to work. There has been quite a few naughty drive through moments this month due to “convenience” though.
What I’ve read/listened to thus far. I’ve finished Jay Shetty’s “Think Like A Monk” and Oprah Winfrey’s “What I know for sure” as well as a few decent podcasts on Finance, Fertility and general life & wellbeing. Definitely a few areas I want to focus on more this year.
I got catfished, I started skateboarding, I tried a few new restaurants (some that are new to me) and one that’s new on the scene. I did one brand collab. Tried out a new fitness studio.
I went to a concert by myself; I saw the Black Eyed Peas perform at Expo. attended an African cooking class and went car shopping.
I went Roller skating for a friend’s birthday and realised I still have this overwhelming fear of falling.
I found a strange lump on my earlobe which the doc says is nothing to worry about & gave me some ointment to apply.
I’m making a more conscious effort to eat a balanced diet and to take my vitamins regularly, especially with covid still lingering and all these new strains.
I’ve done quite a few yoga classes, including trying kundalini for the first time, an aura workshop and various meditations. I’ve only been mostly sober this month; I can actually count on one hand the amount of drinks I’ve consumed.
I’m looking forward to continuing this trend into February.
